Cheers Mike...I've been toying with the idea of making my own..but I'm no expert Joiner and a neighbour was gonna give me a hand and another very good friend offered but they're always busy and I got to the stage where I thought I'll never get anything done,so I bit the bullet and was lucky enough to get this one off EBay....
Like I say bit of jiggery pokery here n there but nothing to major,I'll still be able to fold the bed up and slide bulk head forward and will only lose about 200 mm of load length and I can live with that if it means I'll be able to sleep better and not on my side all night... :( .

Now with A 5 pot Beast.......I started off with nothing and I still got most of it left...!!

8) 8) 8) Pics as per norm :D Is that a hatcher thingy ? Is the bed narrow ? We had some carpet delivered by a courier to the yard this week (not with your style, Iveco) he had some brackets on the sides which then held two scaffold bars cut to size and material stitched round them so like a stretcher, he just rolled it up and strapped it to the sides when not in use quite ingenious we thought :D Although he was excited about dropping into a marquee co as some of his stitching was coming apart  Our machine man re-stitched it for him and added some corner braces/webbing :D

Cheers belly...
Yes it's a Hatcher...really meant for an LT :!: or Sphincter :!: but there's not an awful lot difference in interior profile,if u know what I mean...,I'd thought of all sorts of things but like I'd replied to Mike, times been going on for the last couple of years so I had to get something sorted.
There are gaps around the side,it's not a perfectly snug fit but I've never had my Eberspacher on full belt  and only ever fold a single quilt in half length ways and put that across my seats as a sort of Mattress and have never used my sleeping bag so I'm sure I'll be warm enough.
It is a bit heavier than my original bulkhead so will be sorting out my storage area above cab to save some weight...
I haven't measured the width but will do and let you know..it's a lot wider than passenger seat and obviously flat, also I will gain a bit of width as the armrest gets in the way.
Can't wait to get it sorted and try it out...on my drive I expect...

Been thinking of that Guy...only thing is if I did need the space in the back it wouldn't be very comfortable across the seats... :( :(

Hatchers are a good idea. But i would always spend the £30 or so in a Etap or simular. Good nights sleep, shower, sh1t and a shave :D

When i first started i did a few nights out across the seats, and showered in the services facilities. I soon realised it was not for me, and have taken the Hotel route since.

Antwerp,Venlo,Duisburg,Munster,Osnabruck (A1) to Hamburg and then up the A7 into Denmark via Flensburg,Kolding.
Some prefer the Puttgarden-Rodby ferry but as I tend to get to Hamburg early hours its dead as a door nail up the A7 and its not to much further going over "The Belt".
I loaded in Nth Copenhagen 2 minutes off the E55 so that was ideal.
