here is mine sorry i never took 1 of the mk 5 front but as you all no it was a smiley :D will try and find an old 1 of what it looked like beforelater and add it on

nice conversion...theres still a random line on the wing tho..hmm need througherly thinking about on how to combat that :?

it is going to the body shop next summer to be resprayed in met grey and to get rid of the filler lines my hands couldnt get rid of when i did it bit the way i tried to sort that problem was to beat most of the buldge out and smooth it in

Also makes a refreshing change to the usual mark 5 front going on a mk 3 :roll: :wink:

and good :idea: about the doors will have to look into seeing if they will fit i doubt it but its worth a look and i'm always up for a challenge :lol:
has anyone else done one of these conversions i thought i was the only 1 untill my mate found this other 1 on this thread on google :shock:
or is anyone else planning on doing it any time soon?
i would be happy to advise and help anyone tackleing the ultimate tranni conversion :mrgreen:

cut the mk6 door skins then trim to fit your mk5 doors then just graft in would look perfect then just the bit on the b post then itll be very hard to tell difference
especially if your going a darker cilour
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!
