Hey luke the filler is an easy fit, took me about 20 mins
All you need to do is remove the original filler neck cut about 70mm of it put the new filler in the hole (no mods) and drill the holes for fixings, fit the old now shorter filler neck back to the tank and join the new and old fillers with a length of chemical resistant hose

As for cost this filler was $307au so their not real cheap

And yes MRpivvy thats an inline 6 in there its a 250ci (4.1l) ford crossflow
Factory rated at 85kw @ 3900rpm and 200ft/lb @ 1800rpm their an extreamly strong and reliable engine and also quite long the rear of the engine is almost inline with the dash and the gear stick sits beside the handbrake lever

She's coming on. I wouldn't have thought about putting the radio where you did. You might want to just replace that warning light cover (under the sppeedo). When the light hits it it looks lit up, and you will be constantly wondering if you need brake fluid or something. Worse still, there is a light on there that not even I know what it's for! Had a small electirical fault once, and rang the mechanic, he didn't know either!

What's that in your glove box, is it AC?

The lights under the speedo dont do anything and the clear peice was painted black before i cleaned it up, theres no lights in the loom for it

The radio was there when i got the van and will be removed and blanked off and yes thats the AC in the glove box :D

No sockets on the loom for warning lights!? I have checked the owner's manual (for the phase2, so don't know if this applies to the phase1) and the warning lights are L-R, low vacuum (servo fault), dual brake warning (low fluid), and cold start (diesels only). The last one I didn't know about cos we only have 1 factory diesel, and it now has a late Di with no glow plugs.

If I were you I would look in to this, the lights are there for a reason and you should have them as there is a panel there for them. After all, you would want to know if you suddenly didn't have any brake fluid, wouldn't you?

Australian design rules (ADR's) passed the need for a fluid level warning light on some late 70 early 80 vehicles
