Transits were sold with the Cologne V6 as in Granadas and Sierras?!

Because I never heard of it and assumed the only reason the old Essex V6 was used was back then Transit engines were all LC, hence at 78ps the Pinto wouldn't be enough for say 3.5t and a trailer. And that the high performance models currently available (- Sportline is it? ) was a very recent thing(?)

You could have a supercharged Essex if you wanted one, Ford SVO Dept would build you anything, if you paid for it :wink:

See now this is what I was trying to explain to a customer of mine the other day... " who likes to sh*t forums" The geezer in question has three transits and hasn't got a f**king clue what he has, But would he take the time to get the knowledge from people that not only love it but sometimes live it.... Don't get me wrong I earn bleeding good money out of his lazy sod attitude :D Kaching.... Anyway just wanted to say Really well done for your time and effort.... PUCKER GUYS....
