Postby GYPSYDOG » Sat Jul 28, 2012 8:43 pm

Hi I'am new to vans I have always had 4x4s.
I'am looking at a
2005 FORD TRANSIT High Roof Van 2.0lt TDi 85ps Diesel can any one give me some feed back on
this model please its done 63,000 Miles - 6 months tax and mot and not long had a service its only been used for
light work ? Our intention is to convert to a camper - Now I know that this model is down on power compared to its
big brothers but its what's in wallet that tells us what we can afford has any one got a report on one that they have
had remapped ??? Any info wont go a miss please
Thanks :? GYPSYDOG

Welcome,

Miles sound good does it have any service history.Mk6 are a good van just check for rust especially round arches and sills. Vantuner can get more power out of a 85 if you need it.
if you want more info on the van you can post the reg number and im sure someone will do an etis on it and post it up for you.
The good thing with a Transit is that if one is no good there is always another one just round the corner.
