How 'juicy' is a LutonTaillift Transit

Postby safetymatman » Sun Jan 13, 2013 7:04 pm

I am looking to replace my Transit as I do a lot of furniture deliveries.

I don't specificaly need a Luton body however it would be the obvious choice for my line of work.

I do regular south coast runs (3/400 miles) and wondered if a Luton is really that bad on fuel?

My current MWB transit is fantastically economical - can anyone advise please?

Many thanks

depends how you drive them ,obvious . ours get between 18-25 mpg , mk7s and range from 115s to 140 . we drive them hard on country roads .and dual carrageways . in town they seem to get better ( 25 ) go over 60 and watch the fuel guage drop.
ouch ..suarez bit my finger
