Hi all,
I'm looking for a transit to combine work & pleasure.
I've seen this on eBay.

My first impression is it seems pricey, and what mpg would this return carrying 400 / 500 kg a day.

I think your first impressions are correct, but at least go and see/test it before you make up your mind/buy

MPG would vary according to driving, but I would realistically expect upper 20s for this size van

Personally,, i reckon hes asking nearly twice what its worth. i only paid £2500 for an 05 4 years ago mate Considering the conversion , i would still only want to pay £2200 max for a 2001 .

Not a bad question,, And the walnut looks really ( REALLY) pants ! You can have mine for £3000 converted too same mileage ,, 2 careful owners , full tax and mot , and a new n/s wheelbearing . Bargin.

Thanks guys, it's roughly a 10 hour round trip to view the van.
I like the look of it, but its been painted (don't know original condition) and had clocks changed.
Shame as it still looks good.

It was a bargain mate , had it off a dealer who took it off the hands of a fleet company ,, came with a boatload of history and receipts .

I would look at buying a transit off a forum member myself.
tIMO'S IS A NICE VAN and would make a good camper/day van if you pull out the rear seats.
