Transit custom or vw

Had prices of both

Transit custom basic in silver
270 swb 2.2 tdci 125hp

Vw transporter T28 swb in silver
2.0 102hp

Paying vat an £2k deposit then over 4 years

Vw is working out £60 a month more. Going to keep the van it's whole life so hopefully 12-15 years.

Is the vw worth the extra money?
Both drive great so finding it hard to decide.

try walking in to a vw showroom and asking to test drive a ford .

because if anyone on here tells you to buy the vw , they will be sent into oblivion . except that nutter who comes on saying we should all scrap our transits and buy sprinters .( he gets let out of the nuthouse every few weeks to entertain us)

Depends if you want to keep it stock, or customise it. Ford transits are very limited on aftermarket upgrades if you compare them to VW. End of day you can't say what's better, it's just what you like. Generally you will get a lot more van for your money with the ford, plus the vw is very bland inside.
