need help on best transit to get for my budget

hi i was wondering if anyone can help me i need a van to pick up bikes and scooters as ive just started company need somthink that are good on diesel as i do lot of long runs can anyone tell me whats the best transit to get on petrol/diesel mpg and to be not brakeing down all the time and to be used everyday dont mind swb swb high roof thanks buget around £1000 to £1500

for that price you will struggle to get a good mk6 £1500 is about the lowest price the early ones are going for - so a mk5 is proberbly what you'll get :D

if you could stretch to a mk6 then you could get a fwd with lower rear floor - that might help you loading bikes in :D

can get a lwb dohc 2.0 put im worried there to juiceie as its a petrol what you rekon

For economy not speed you want a 70ps diesel :wink:

ok then are thay good on juice and are thay sturdy been offerd a really nice 2.0 lt petrol nice inisde and out he paid 2500 for it year ago and only got sumin like 65.000 on the clock full service history so what would you advise as ill get most of the petrol/desial back as its gona be a my business work van dno what to do lolo help thanks

I would go for a mk5 diesal as they keep on going on and on plus they are alot easyer and cheaper to repair (i have done 15,000 miles in mine without any trouble at all) :D
