Mine is with them Guy, and it's de-seated to 8 passenger seats and they are happy to insure it as a car. You may need to find a local CIS agent rather than the call centre numpties, because some of them aren't very bright :roll: :lol:

Might be beacuse i mentioned van??

My nearest centre is coventry :(

going to try NFU aswell

The cis will insure you if you already have an existing 8 seater policy with them as they have to honour it, but are not taking on any new policys for 8 seaters, this is what they told me last month as they were too risky :roll: .
TRANSIT M8, SAY NO MORE YOUR IN...... FORD THROUGH TO THE BONE......

Try Ford themselves they quoted me £430 for a Transit Tourneo on a 53 plate good value realy as other companys wanted £500+ and others just would not touch it, as they say it is a seperate insurance as it is classed as a minibus even though I told them I will be taking the rear set of seats out.
This is the 1 I realy want
