Which Engine

Postby Barnsey7 » Wed Jun 15, 2011 6:04 pm

Hi,

I need to buy a LWB high roof Transit. Around 2006-ish
Which engine is the best to go for in terms of fuel economy etc?
I want to start up a new business and need space in my van for equipment.
Will the LWB version be ok or would the Jumbo be better? Keeping in mind the fuel consumption?
Any info given will be gratefully received
Regards

Mark

Generally the higher the output the better on fuel they are , because the engine doesn't have to work as hard, but with a lwb or jumbo you wont be doing much better than 30mpg regardless of which engine
