2001 extra lwb hi cube smiley. What's it worth?

Postby wot » Wed Jun 15, 2011 7:13 pm

Hello folks,
I haven't been around here much because I've never had much problems with my van.

1st registered in 2001 my smiley hi-cube is pretty much retired now. It has 160,000 miles approx done and passed it's last DOE (irish equivilant to MOT) needing very little done.

It will take a whole house full of furniture if someone wanted to continue to use it for work or it'd make an excellent camper conversion.

I'm considering selling it but can't find a comparable van to get a price comparisson.

So....what's it worth?

These pics are a year old, my brother is gone to do a furniture job so I can't take any just now.

I have the invoice for the timing belt and water pump at about 120k miles. I've had it since 106K.

New front brakes and some suspension parts (I can't remember exactly but will have the invoices if needed).

Oil changes etc by me.

5 good tyres.

Not much salt on the roads in Ireland so she's probably better than most underneath. I haven't looked so assume it'll need some work underneath to keep the rust at bay.

Back doors are fine but some adjustment needed to make them perfect.

I had the sills resprayed last year to pass the DOE.

Newest Mk5 on the forum too: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=27933&start=195
