First time van buyer, looking for ANY advice please

I'm new to the forums.

I work for myself and drive a Kangoo but I've reached the point where it is just too small. So, i'm looking to purchase my first 'proper van' in the new year and I am looking for any advice. Literally anything you lot can suggest for when I first view some transits is much appreciated. I'd hate to buy something I would later regret so I want to do all research beforehand.

My main concern at the moment is how my insurance will work. I am 25 and have built-up 8 year no claims. Even though I have 'business class 1' on the kangoo, I have been told this is not seen as 'commercial' insurance and it is likely I will have to rebuild this up again if I change over - is this correct?

My budget is £2000 and I do not require a long-wheel-base, normal size is fine. As long as I can physically get in the van whilst loading it will make everything much easier.
