im not sure i fully understand..

my main aim was to find out how many mk3's are left from the spesific year of 86 only not to see how many mk3's are left in general - unless you mean look through the other posts noting down any 86's that come up :)

Doesnt seem to be hardly any 86's left. There are several threads on how many left, but resurrect too many and it all gets a bit thin.

thats why i started this thred, as a kind of databace of how many C reg or D reg but still 86 mk3's where left :)

The only way your get that sort of detail is to try the SMMT, but they now charge for that

which is why this sort of works as adatabace as i guess it lists the ones that have come up for sale, of which the vast majority are tax and tested and on the road

since you started this thred iv been looking about and iv seen loads of early mk3s there is a beaver tail round the corner from mine and a member of my car club has a beaver one aswell and you must know Dave Tomas he has a beaver one to but i have see some that arnt beavers but they are all i can think of atm

Agreed and look how many LWB ones are about :shock: can't remember the last one I saw on the road around here

yes most do appear to be beaver tails...but i dont think ive seen a lwb van one yet :?:

saw a really really tatty (underseal all the way up to the top sewage line on the side tatty) e reg mk3 beaver tail tonight strangely on the road but duno how :lol:
