Karmnu's Transits [ Malta ]

this man is a god is there nothing he cant do with a transit or have for a transit

Went up today to see my friend for a Mk1 door ;





And seen him restoring this Mk2 pickup truck. Its very solid and Karmnu had just replaced the pinto petrol engine with a DI diesel engine. It was owned by a carpenter who just used it to carry wood and ready made furniture;





He's rubbed of the sides from paint and just painted it with orange stuff paint with wood preservitives. He is also cutting some small rust holes from the iron frames which hold the side wood. When this Transit is transformed and fully painted it will ask the €2000 price tag.....

Today went to have a look at the pickup how its recovering and can see the work is in progress!! In 2 weeks the change can be seen.

On my way back passed to see if Redeemer was there to see his van as he has restored it but did not stop. Just got a quick picture of the back side , just to see the briliant idea of incorporating the reverse lights in the back bumpers. But i wish i'll leave it to him to do a small feature on his restoration.
