ATE 429E? surely that makes it 1967? no E plate would be 1966 as E" suffixes ran only from 1 January to 31 July 1967
The grey one registered 02.05.66 is now back on the road.

the build date and the registration date don t need to be the same 5 1 66 was its build date :wink:

Ford has a 1965, C registration, van in its heritage collection. I believe, but don't quote me, this is apparently the earliest known mk1 that survives.

its been around since 95 ish so is pretty well known, that and peters C reg one from a film

i think the aim was to see if an others exist other than the known ones :)

I have EFJ £££D SWB panel van first registered January 25th 1966. I am the second owner, bought it off the old guy whose company used it from new till laid up in 1979. Assume built in 1965. Petrol front. Dark green with cream signwriting.
You lot seem pretty darn excited about build dates so how do I go about finding out the build date for mine? :roll:
