saw these at the weekend at swaffham raceway when i went to see the all cortina meeting

the yellow mk2 is from germany/holland (netherlands) i think, fair play to the guys for comming on the 900 mile round trip..and the only problem they had was a trailer wheel fall off....you got to admit..transits go on and on and on :lol:

The yellow Mk2 is a fellow dutch driver living near the belgian border. I often wondered if they never got pulled by the old Bill in the UK :mrgreen: That thing sure is quick, even towing a car & trailer. It's quite a rarity, as it doesnt seem to be an ex german fire brigade one.

i wondered how aswell...as they only had 3 out of 4 wheels on their trailer :lol:

no i dont think it is an ex fire one :)

the picture was taken at swaffham raceway at the all cortina meeting, the german guys mostly brought ford taunus's (spelling?)

Dutch= from Netherlands :wink:
Indeed Taunus, the mk 4/5 Cortina equivalent being the same (TC 2 /TC3), and the mk 3 Cortina (TC1)were just a bit different(trim/bodywork).
Shame I couldn t attend the meeting, was a good one.
Reminds me that my Mk2 needs finishing before the end of season... :oops: :!:
