its wasnt an auction it was a ford show as far as i was aware

and yes i know now any 14 inch chrome trim should fit..just have to find some :lol:

the caravan banger meeting a couple of months back i think when you took the pic of the granada my mk2 transit was about 200 yards away from where you took the pic lol

i was also there tonight i was on one of the recoverys on track one of witch is a mk2 running a 3.0 v6 you wont see mine as she is in my workshop

nice, that mk2 is prety quick but diddnt know it had a 3.0

yea its a 3.0 and its pritty clean aswell. i was on the lwb twin wheel ex minibus that had recovery across the bonnet and side windows thats numbered 7 its the firt one on the track when the race is stoped. my mk2 is at matchams but locked away nice and dry lol i will put some pics on hear when i know how but im kinda new to this lol

there use to be another mk2 diddnt there? when the vans use to be a burgandy colour?

iva got many photos of the recovery transits...dont think ive uploaded many

yea thats the one i was on no 7 and the green banger van is or was a m8 of mines van lol and yea all the recovery vans used to be mk2s but i duno what engines thay had in them then. but now thay just have the one left on the site except mine :) lol

do the recovery drivers change vehicle from time to time or stay with the same van because on a couple of occasions ive seen the driver of the mk3 (you?) and i recognise him as a driver who somtimes use to race at ashley heath when it was good lol, would that be you?

that mk2 does look in prety good nick..some of the other transits are getting a bit hanging body work wise tho :lol:
