at first glance this van dosent appear to have an engine? but on futher inspection it the pits i think it had a 2 litre pinto engine set really far back
2010
the white transit below is of interest because it has a Jaguar engine fitted with some modification to the bulkhead - is this an idea for a future transit engine swap? - has anybody done somthing similar on here?
Jag powered
the rear axel has been changed for a jag axel and modifications to the inner wheel arches have been done to accomodate this
the jag engine
another pic of the engine
engine swaps are popular in this formula - this appears to have a ford grandna 2.3 or 2.8 in it
trusty tow truck
nice mk2
the internals of the mk2
this mk2 took a BIG smack to the front from a flat out head on crash...but it being a transit it was stright out in the next race
front view - the front has been bent right up above the axel - still went tho good old transits never die
rear view - this was the result of another van going flat out into the back of it - diddnt kill the mk2 tho
the following pics where taken at Arlington (eastbourn) race way
nice mk2 beaver tail with a morris oxford on the back - D reg, thats a very late mk2
mk2 tow van
rear view of mk2 tow van
early mk3 - nice to see one still being used
trusty transit tow trucks - is there a better van for the job.. i think not
