Mk5 Electrical Problem?

Postby nifty » Mon May 20, 2013 1:41 am

Woke up this morning with no tacho, speedo, indicators, horn, wipers on my 2000 mini bus. No battery problems so not alternator? Standard fuses ok. Any suggestions welcome please.

Check main fuses beside battery, could be bad contact.

Had similar on a BMW... Sometimes no dash etc, turn off then on mostly fixed...
Think it was bad contact to ecu . Your clocks prob not via ecu so most likely bad earth or power feed if intermittent fault...

As already mentioned, check fuses too
