Mk3 Rear Brake shoe fitting

Postby BlueBikerNut » Tue May 07, 2013 12:25 pm

Hello.. I have the rear brake shoes. Thinking it was going to be an easy refit..NOT.. I need the Half shaft back plate special tool socket Ford part number 15-077 to fit the round slotted type hub nut.. to remove this before i can get at the spring clips that hold shoes to brake back plate,... Its on my 1989 Mk3 Transit. ANY ONE local to me.. NORTHAMPTON.. would be kind enough to either lend me one. OR. come and do it for me. I could pay for there time. in TEA n Bacon butties. and a joke or two..lol  . Being I have Blood pressure I can't always get down under the vehicles now.. Any Help would be welcomed. OR. where can I get the tool.. seems silly really buying one to use for just a single job to me. if some one has one laying in the tool box. or If you could buy the tool now..which is near on dout full :D Please reply ASAP. to this thread. needing brakes done... Kind regards..FRED.

Then BINGO. a link was given to me. Now waiting and I can tinker doing it me self..Thanks for your reply. regards. :D
