Mk7 transit 2.4 oil leak

Hi all had a few a oil leaks on my 2.4 transit when u drive it the entire engine bay was destroyed.the gaskets at the vacumn pump failed replaced them all good.it seems to weeping now out of the round plastic over in front of the fuel pump on the timing cover gonna order 1 in ford 2moro .anybody on here have this issue before thanks in advance

Hi got a new part from ford and fitted it today problem still occurring with the engine on idle it's perfect soon as u drive it leaks outat the front cover on dsl pump

Could it be the timing cover itself rusty/porous?? Ford manual doesn't list any sealant for that area.

The round cover has a seal strip on it's rear face and this ages, becoming hard and ineffective.

You either buy a new cover or remove it ( it is a bayonet fitting, sixth of a turn to remove ) and degrease then apply sealer like loctite 5699.
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small
