Would it be anything to do with me driving with my foot on the clutch pedal

Why are you driving with your foot on the clutch pedal...?? That's just poor driving. The clutch pedal has two switches so if you have your foot resting on it the PCM thinks the clutch is being operated and will cause all sorts of grief.

Obviously you do need help if you're driving with your foot on the clutch..it's just plain wrong and the easiest way to destroy a clutch release bearing in no time.

I'm afraid the Euro-5's can be a bit of a mystery at the best of times. I know very little about them
