Off topic a bit, I'd be interested in what your van looks like! LWB's are few and far between, even seems to me there are more county versions than standard ones. Hope you get this problem sorted out

Hope you get the hanger sorted, MK3 LWB's are dissapearing off our streets all too quickly and other than a great turnout of Countys at Transitmania last year I only saw one there.

That's a good idea to re drill the holes. I suppose it's a little bit worrying how strong it would be though. That said, a much better idea than what I could come up with. Any idea's how much the labour is worth to re do the job properly?

P.S I responded to some of the posts after a skinfull... sorry if I messed some of the posts up

Provided I can re-use the parts, £150. To weld and re-drill £80-100. It would be strong either way.

I would be happy to pay 150 for the repair. To be honest I just want my van to be safe and drive like it used to. I've done loads of work to it over the years... I'll be damned if I scrap it

Hi everyone the twin wheel is back on the road and the spring hangers have actually been moved forward... turns out that it was a problem with the copy hangers, they were out by 2 and a half centimetres! I can't remember the last time my suspension felt this smooth! Thanks again for all your help!


ps is anything happening at Billing Aquadrome this year or has it been and gone?
