Mk7 Egr troubles

Hiya guys I have a mk7 in on a 58 plate, I have pluged it in and I am geting a reading of P0404 EGR, Have any of you mk7 guys had trouble with blockages or hose leaks on these ????? It's rare for the egr itself to go down and it isn't blowing out a load of shite, but it does bring on the mil light and on idle it has a slight miss ANY IDEAS ???? Cheers guys..

Egr failure is very common on mk7
Everyone is entitled to my opinion

Cheers guys I put a wiring sound test/trace on the loom to find low pulse so that one is for the morning :wink: thanks again...
