Yes it is, but it aint that simple :( There are so many variations in bore size and pipe sizes that you really need the number off the little tag that hopefully is still attached :)

it won't fit mate, but the whole servo/master from a mk3 will. I think bungle found the LDV fits but don't know which model (presumably the convoy). Either way you are looking at new brake pipes unless you go for like for like

They all look similar, differences are the distance between the mounting holes and position of brake pipe outlets and bore diameter. I found there were 5 different types of m/cyl fitted to my 1987 MK3 and 3 types on my 1982 MK2, they all looked the same though

So did anyone tried this swap?
Found couple links of one, witch I think is same as mine on mk2 :

http://www.autopartoo.com/oem/metelli/202171vu2.html
http://e-shop.eoltas.lt/index.php?cl=de ... hauto=8728

It seems cylinder wont fit on servo?
because of mounting points or shaft length or else?

(just had mine painted, actually master cyl also repaired, but now wont bleed through and has strange step when pressing pedal in middle.)
