Codes to identify which Clutch I have?

Postby The gadge » Fri May 17, 2013 5:35 pm

I have a 2003 2.0 td and my clutch needs replacing. Does anyone know how I can find out weather it has a duel mass flywheel or a solid flywheel before I take it to bits. As if its a fuel mass flywheel I know I would need to change that with the clutch and if its a solid flywheel I would just require a clutch.

I'm hoping someone will know by chassis code etc.

Thanks

It's something to do with the power it has I think but that's not saying someone has already replaced a DMF with a single mass one ?? Without taking it out you won't know it don't really make that much difference the clutches are the same so just order both and take the flywheel back if yours Is already converted
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots
