05 RWD 135 350 Front disc replacement

Hi,
Trying to replace the front disc's on the transit, stripped everything, torx bolts and ABS shaft, but the hub bearings won't budge out of the knuckle by smacking the back of the disc or hitting a socket covering the bearing! Anybody had any success without the special puller from Ford? The bearings have plenty of WD40 on them, and I'm reluctant to try heat in case I damage the dust seals in the bearings with out asking about it first! Any ideas greatly appreciated

Get a large socket and hit from the back or use a bigger hammer

Just keep hitting iv smashed disks getting the bearing out but if there that tight and your hitting it that hard I'd change the bearings as well they ain't ment to take that much of a beatling making sure you clean the hole out properly and use plenty if copper grease so you don't have the same problem again!

Cheers for that, Hammer 0 - 1 Transit, its brutal, haven't snapped to many 7lb hammers before!

How do you replace the bearings in the hub?? One side is ok but the other has a slight lumpiness to it!

Cut old one off and press new one on
