did you use a spline socket ?

the correct one would off done it the hexagon socket same as the bolt head

my oppninon i would be useing heat to warm them if i rounded bolt heads off not to much but enough to crank the with a pair off mole grips

mole grips??

there inset into the pully and would just slip

I would go for a good quality 6 sided impact socket and get someone to hold the socket while you push down on the bar

how do u know there is no head on them? is it your van? i too would try a good six sided socket as the metal which is left may be enough for it to grab.

A single hex socket may not work now if a multi hex has rounded the head. You can get a socket designed for removing rounded bolts try your local factors or tool shop. Otherwise you can weld a nut to the rounded head.Dont use too much heat or you might need a new cs pulley. As posted elsewhere DONT LOCK THE ENGINE AT THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR.

if they are bi-hex heads then an AF socket slightly smaller will hammer on and undo them

this is a very bad idea, if the crankshaft sensor bracket breaks it may require the gearbox off to replace it,

get someone to help put it in gear foot on brake pedal..long breaker bar and a good fitting socket,
if you want to lock flywheel take starter motor off and lock it there

x2, do not use the flywheel locking pin, it WILL break the sensor bracket, been there done that, as angeleye says 4th gear handbrake on tight and a decent 15mm socket and breaker bar

wish I had read this 5 days ago.iv'e bust the bracket.
