If you have ids running correctly with the licence etc and you run the extended programming patch then that's it, you don't need to do anything else and you only needed to extract it to desktop.

If you can't install the licence correctly and are having problems and are running Windows 7, either ask someone to have a look on team viewer or install it on xpsp3.

Here,s exactly what I done with the 2 discs I got.
Disc1
Install ids, reboot computer.
install patch, reboot computer.

Disc 2
Install calibration file.

Got the Ford extended file sent to me, opened it (there was no install instructions just opened a box stating module programme enabled to 20/5/2014 do I want to extend this by 120 days. I chose NO. Have I gone wrong somewhere ? I am using windows7 but have also tried running on windows XP3 in compatibility mode.
I have been able to use VCM, done pump/pilot learn after fitting new PRV. :x :x

Are you actually bothering to read the replies we are posting here ?
If your not going to read the replies correctly and try what is stated, and then tell us exactly what you've done, then your just going to be going round in circles !
Once you've applied the extended programming patch you need to go on to IDS and see if the module programming is now enabled.
If it isn't then try applying the patch how I have recommended in my replies

Install v86 + patch from cd then install v81 calibrations (installer) from dvd.
After this you need another patch called Ford extending program which you simply run and it extends the module programming function.

My second disc with the calibrations on is damaged ..... it has a dark patch on the disc

I have just made the purchase and am attempting an install on windows 8.1. No joy so far, I can't install the 2nd disc as my main PC won't read it and the Lappy has no disc drive :/
Could anyone help me out with the software?

It only works on Windows Xp or Windows 7, I'm sure that it says this on the website......

I'm pretty sure it listed 8.1 unless that was for later software, it loads up but won't load software for the vcm...

This thread is well over 2 years old...you might want to post in here..:

Alternatively...Forscan and a decent ELM-327 will see you sorted.
