van is driving not faster then 60km

Hy guys.
I have a ford transit and the problem I face is that the Van is not running faster then 60Km/h. But there is some thing to tell . If the engine light in the odometer is off then the Van drives normal only if the engine light is on then the van drives only max 60km/h and this light more on as off. what is the trouble??

Sounds like your van is in limp home when the management light is on you need to get the codes checked and that should put you in the right area

Thks for your replay but i have a difficult to understand what do you mean with limp and what is about the code to check . I know there is a board computer but to handle any codes to check i don't have this checking device. so what can i do??
