The exhaust fumes while driving my mk4 2.5 banana are horrendous now, without doing a proper inspection is it safe to assume its probably just the manifold gasket i need to change or are there any other prime leaking locations forward of the cockpit? Cheers. Dan.

If you can't hear the exhaust blowing at all, it's highly likely to be your rear doors/seals not closing correctly
