Cheap Oil

Postby Timbo » Sun Jul 13, 2014 11:46 am

Halfords are doing a deal on Oil at the moment - 4 litre "can" for £12.

You have to look for the promotion as the normal 5 litres are still at the old price.

There is both the WSS - M2C913-B (semi synthetic) and the WSS - M2C913-C (fully synthetic).

Query, My Mk7 handbook asks for the M2C913-B but the Haynes Manual for the MK7 says M2C913-C.
Am I O.K. using the -C in my '06 130ps Tourneo ?

Yes as Ford recommend full synth now any way and don't forget to get 2 cans as a transit takes nearly 7ltrs and 2011 on nearly 9ltrs

Not been over impressed with halfords oil in the past, didn't seem to stay on spec for long.
