Ford CI Transit Motor Home (1979)

Postby frieda » Wed Jul 16, 2014 7:45 pm

Please can someone help - our van keeps cutting out and needs a fuel pump.. On the log book it says that it is 1663cc. There are some possibles on ebay but we are not sure if they will fit - we checked and there is no number on the fuel pump - any advice on what type of pump will fit will be greatly appreciated - along with how to put on photos...

Hi Frieda
You are not being ignored but without more information about your camper it's hard for those who can, to help.
Even older Transits came with a multitude of options from new, and yours may well have had an engine change, so a picture of the engine is pretty much a MUST, is it diesel or petrol ? I am guessing that it is a petrol V4 engine, but I am no expert. Where are you ? Nearest major town will do (assuming U.K.), someone may be near and could help, or suggest where you might get a fuel pump.
