Ex rac. Air compressor and power inverter

Postby Darren.w » Sun Aug 17, 2014 7:31 pm

Hi i have a ex rac transit and I believe they have had an inverter fitted to them before anyone know where they where situated or were they all different ?

I'm looking into fitting an inverter that will be powerful enough to power a smallish air compressor and maybe a small grinder if possible.
Does anyone have a link to a half decent inverter / air compressor thanks.

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.
Darren.

I wasn't aware they had an inverter fitted.
you will need a BIG inverter to start even a small air compressor motor.

I've a 150w inverter that charges my Milwaukee power tool batteries for my grinder, drill etc.

i have a 12v compressor fitted.
its a Vair 1.5 gallon Air Source kit
Not the fastest but ideal for setting tyre pressures and cleaning out carburettors and air filters etc
