help with buying the right deisel pump

Postby transit_bandit » Sat Sep 13, 2014 2:42 pm

Probably a laughable question to u guys lol..
But I'm on the hunt for a fuel pump for my
2.0,diesel duratec ,fwd ,swb transit 2001 (Y plate) pumps big bosch jobby with the tdc(if that's what it's called)on top.
Now looking on ebay obviously I match them on appearance but is that enough or do the bolt holes or insides change :?: .. on the description they all say 2ltr & 2.4 from 2000 upto a 2006
And the other thing I got asked is"is mine a Di or or tddi"? Can anyone help with that one as well :?:

Sorry to throw a million questions in one but u know how it is lol..
Any and all answers are very muchly appreciated brothers of the fords round table
Cheers..
Wes..

U might still be able to help if poss Karl

When my pump first went looked into it saw the costs n thought oh well that's me off the rd for a while.do covered up the front of the van and left it..2 days later 3 am in the morn me neighbour across the rd texts me and says I'm sure someone's under the cover near your engine.so out I went and caught the little f***! He was attempting to steal my starter motor..After giving him a rite royal kicking n chasing him off he's unbolted my starter and hacksawed thru the cables going to it..
So my that core of cables that bolt to it I need replacing..u don't have them for sale by any chance do u chief?..
Cheers pal..
