Mk6 2.0 TDCi 125 Poor idle and wont rev

Help,

My 2.0 TDCi is running poorly at idle, runs fine over 1000 rpm but revs are sitting at just above 750 and engine shakes and generally sounds rough - what is correct idle RPM?

Sometimes, you can start the van and however hard you press the accelerator, no revs, nothing it just sits just above the 750 mark.

Turn off, turn back on and it will rev again but with the poor idle. Please help.

First - do overflow injectors test. You can do it yourself or in service with IDS tester help. It is not expensive.

Second - try connect for short test new, good charged battery - don't trust your own one, even if it is new and working.
Check charging voltage with different engine speed (on battery terminals) and with strong equipment on (head lights, heater blower, etc.). Voltage should be 14,4V (stable) with medium engine speed 2000 - 3000 rotations. On idle no lower then 14V.

Third - are you sure dualmass flywheel is in good condition?

If everything will be absolutely perfect - you need to connect good tester IDS and check fuel pressure on rail. In starting it must be 350 bar +/- 50 bar, on idle 250 bar +/- 50 bar.

Read faults - of course...

Yes, it is most expanded and reliable Ford testing system.

This is what my van is doing did this ever get solved
Basically I bought the van a year ago approx and got some advice from a guy on this forum as my engine was shot and I couldn't find a f1fa engine anywhere so I bought a mondeo 130 engine it fitted straight in and ran a dream have done approx 6k with it in there. Ocassionaly cut out but I put this down to a faulty injector? I lent the van to my Bro who ragged the death out of it and It died. I have fitted a pump as the filter was full of swarf and then 4 2nd hand injectors the van will start on the button now but won't rev just idles lumpy and dies then starts straight back up but can't be revved I can't get my head around it leak back test on the injectors seems fine just don't know where to go with it please help
