Oil leak

Oil leak

I had a new clutch fly wheel and rear main oil seal fitted
2 days ago to stop a oil leak coming from the bell housing
but it's still leaking any ideas why

I had the same problem with oil leaking from bell housing, changed the crankshaft seal and it still leaked, had to remove again and refit the crankshaft seal making sure I used plenty of instant gasket round the seal housing, solved the leak.

It's gotime ack in to the garage and he fitted
a new seal with some silicone this timr and it's sill leaking
now one has sprung up on the oil pressure switch
What to do now,

what age of van is it??

It's a 2003 lwb ex DHL transit
no rot or rust at all 150k on clock

on the 2.4 the rear main also doubles as an oil seal, when its fitted the faces are coated in sealent, if this has split and degraded then the engine has to come out to sort it

Need to make sure you use plenty instant gasket on the seal housing.

Well I sent it back and he did it again
an still leaking it's now leaking from
the oil pressure switch area now
Is there any thing I can pour in to the engine
to seal oil leaks I saw something on u tube any ideas

Don't know of any oil additive that can help stop oil leaks.
Maybe the engine has high oil pressure causing the leak :?:
