Best secruity for back and side doors?

Postby bazw » Fri Oct 17, 2014 7:21 pm

Hi all Im looking to beef up the locking on my Mk7.

been thinking about those hasps with the round lock in the centre but I dont know if they would work for a sliding door as I have not seen one in the flesh so to speak.

What is the best short of welding the doors up ?

Keep a large hungry dog in the back, or do what I do, park up tight to another van on the left, backed up to a wall, with alarm & CCTV on the drivers door............................

And I still worry

Regarding the sliding door i have a hasp type lock on mine on the inside, okay it means getting in to lock/unlock in the morning & night but it's secure.

Good idea

I intend to cage the side door so I can run a genny with the door open so not hard to make a double hasp and have the two lock or just the cage lock. Brain was stuck in outside mode but inside workes just as well,
