MK6 Cannot connect to IDS

Postby sand010 » Sun Oct 19, 2014 8:19 pm

Well i came home after my 5 week trip ready to try and get PCM programming working, would you believe it i cannot even connect to IDS at all now

I have also tried with another scan tool same result cannot communiate at all.

I have checked the DLC with a multimeter

Only thing that was a bit strange was that PIN read 0.025v is this correct? I am still getting 12+v on PIN 16

Anyone got any suggestions?

taa

I have checked fuse 21O the one under the passenger dashboard, far right, in the middle, its labled as tacho/clock but apparently deals with the DLC. Rekon it could be another one?
