Nothing in the warranty stating garage must be VAT registered!
Its pretty unlikely that a "Kosher" garage WONT be VAT registered anyway (the threshold is only about 40 odd grand turnover to make registration compulsory)
as for genuine parts....the courts decreed that if a vehicle Manufacturer licences the manufacture of "non genuine parts" by another company then those parts can be used on their vehicles and not affect the warranty (ie they cannot "sell" the right to make parts to someone then say afterwards that the parts are no good)
In order to comply with warranty conditions you have to show that all servicing/repairs have been carried out to manufacturers specification (do all dealers actually do that
) and that "Authorised" parts have been used
