hi I have a 08 transit motorhome team roller the leisure battery over heats smokes and smells the main battery is ok I have put 2 new battery in the van and they both did the same thing can any one help me out ? thanks

get it checked by auto electrician sounds like over charging

Definately overcharging.
Does it do it when engine is running, or when on mains hook up?

it do's it when the van is running ok when on mains

stick a voltmeter on it, but it sounds like the alternator is cooking it.
