screen washer problem

Postby pinback2001 » Mon Jan 26, 2015 5:11 pm

Hi all
I have a 2004 260 swb mk. 6 and today the washers ceased to function. I could still hear the pump so assumed they had run out of screenwash, but on topping it up it only took about a pint and still no fluid to the screen. I have pulled the tubing apart at a junction near to the wash bottle and activated the washer switch, but nothing coming through. Is it possible the pump can still be audibly going, but pumping nothing?
Thanks in advance for any advice offered chaps!

Pull the pump out of the bottle it's in the bumper In front of the pass wheel the black gromit it sits in has a built in filter it's normally full of green slime
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots
