2002 transit tipper lack of power

I'm hoping someone can help me, I bought a transit tipper last February having never owned one before, I always thought it was a bit sluggish but I thought it must be just because it's an old van, but I borrowed a friends transit the same age and style as mine and it has so much more Strength and power than mine. I'm not much good with mechanics but if someone can point me in the right direction I will hopefully get to the bottom of it and get it running properly. Thanks Tom

Are they the same engine output, at that age they came in 75ps, 90ps and 125ps

If yours is a 75 and his is higher, that could explain it.
When was yours last fully serviced including all filters?

Thanks for the reply, they are the same power, he thinks the turbo isnt kicking in, it had a full service and filters change around two months ago? Cheers Tom
