2014 Ford transit Mini bus

Having purchased a shiny new transit minibus in Sept 2014, I am less than pleased. yes it give me an additional passenger seat but there are other problems. The first one is needing a new fuel filter at 4500km. then twice the engine management light has came on and of course the start/stop doesn't appear to work if the temp is under 5 degrees. To what degree have Ford tested this vehicle. The dealership seem to think that fitting a fuel filter at 4500km is ok. I certainly don't. a fellow operator needed one replaces at 3500km. has anyone else had similar problems. The bus just can't be trusted. and of course it is fuel greedy.

A couple of people have mentioned that the first fuel filter blocks quickly, but settles afterwards... but I can't confirm that.

All new vehicles use a lot of fuel until the engine loosens up a bit, the MPG will improve.

Someone mentioned that a faulty fuel filter housing on his van was causing the filter to "think" that it needed changing
