transit mk6 fuel pump issues

Postby olivondo » Tue Feb 24, 2015 10:22 pm

I have a transit mk6 on a 2001 2 ltr tddi. My fuel trim valve was leaking so replaced pump with a second hand pump (vp30). All timed up and new pumped coded in and all successful. One of the main inlets to the pump bent slightly when removing (possible fault but not sure). After 3 battery's boost pack and towing for a mile it still wont fire  . Getting some diesel to the injectors but still bubbly with a bit of air. Cracked off spill off pipes but no diesel coming out :? Any thoughts would be great help.

Thanks in advance
Ollie
