Hi here is a short video of my 2008 transit 115 tipper with 81k . Van has started running lumpy since I have taken cam cover off to see if any damage was visible . I did notice a score mark on exhaust side cam .would like some advice either new parts or new engine thank you

Looking at that i'd suspect a faulty follower / tappet,
Have you checked the rocker pack ?

Hi yes I did check it today , was not sure was i was looking for to be honest everything was in tack I did notice on the cam lobe that was scored , the lifter that was in contact with it did have a tiny bit missing off the roller . When I put it back together when in tick over the tapping did seem to almost disappear for a few seconds then come back.

I have found out it has been like this for the last 3 years previous owner said he bought it like it and never got any worse it had 35 k on clock when it started doing it.
