2008 2.4tdci engine change

Hi I am needing to change my engine on my 2008 2.4 tdci 115ps tipper. What is needed to do this ? . Do I need a engine with the same engine code as the one I have taken out , and do I need to use my old fuel pump and injectors etc any help would be great .

What caused the damage to the old engine?

The injectors need to be coded in, fuel pump does not, it's just a pump.
You ideally want the same model number of engine, and then once fitted you need to code the injectors, then carry out an injector learn, pump learn etc using Ford ids system

It was tapping , took head off to find the bore was scored and small end had gone .

Think 115ps would be JXFA OR JXFC and should be stamped as part of engine number on bottom of block
