YAVCM2 post!

Yet another VCM 2 post!

I have a 2013 Transit as well as a 2015 F350. I would like to buy a VCM 2 so I am not always at the mercy of the Ford dealers. I own a tech 2 for my GM's and it has more than paid for itself.

I have been reading all morning but I haven't really got a cut and dry answer.

Is there any place where we can buy a VCM 2 and get a high quality clone? It seems there are good and bad quality clones?

If I buy a clone, will I be able to pay for a Ford subscription to work with my 2015 F350?

Other than quality are there any distinct advantages to buying a genuine VCM2?

And finally, can I do basic functions on my F350 such as read codes, set tire pressure for TPMS without a subscription?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to contributing here. It seems like one of the best sources for information on the VCM.
