Lol that's where the problem start

I have taken rear running gear from a van at scrap yard unknown model had 12 mm 5 studs on 16" wheels with massive tyres

Front sub frame of another vehicle engine and box from an LDv but it's a banana engine all mated up on a monster truck bedford cf camper

I would post pictures if I could figure it out lol I'm an old Luddite lol

There may be an alloy tag on the casing, otherwise count the number of times the prop turns for one wheel rotation

It's running mk6/7 wheels... are you sure the studs are 12mm? If it's a axle with 12mm studs it's not safe to fit those wheels!

Can yoy show us a picture of the axle, preferably Showing the rear brakes?

But if you just want to know the ratio, put a mark on the diff flange, lock up one wheel and rotate the other. Count the number of turns of the wheel required for 1 revolution of the propshaft. This is either half or double the ratio (can't remember which off hand)
